Paper Craftin with Erica

“Little” Treat

Here's a great idea for party favors or just a "little" something for a loved one or friend.  I used a small paper drawer box (also known as mini match boxes) that I purchased from Oriental Trading.  I measured a small piece (approximately  3 x 4 1/2) of patterned paper.  Before I adhered it to the box, I inked the edges of the box with ink so that the white of the box would blend in with the paper.  I then inked the edges again after I adhered the paper.

I used the Coluzzle cutting system to cut a circle the size of my circle sampler stamps.  (The decorative circle and the "Love You" are two different stamps.)  After inking the edges, I adhered it to the top of the box with one large pop dot.  I took two pieces of ribbon and neatly tied them together at the top.  Add your favorite piece of candy and/or little note.
