I've recently realized that I'm running very low on birthday cards, so I put these two together pretty quick. The images are colored in with Copic markers and then I glazed them with Glossy Accents for dimension. I used pop dots for added dimension. **Click on image to enlarge**
One of the things that I'm really proud of is the yellow area (on the right card) where I used the Copic Airbrush system. I got it for Christmas and this is the first thing I made with it. I can't wait to use it on more things! Oh, and I also want to add that I've been using Memento ink pads with my Copic markers. It's the only one I can find that doesn't smear when you color with the Copics. I'm also thinking it's time for some more blog candy in the near future. Stay tuned! XOXOXOXO
Hi, Erica!
MargieH from SNR…first of all, congrats on getting the Copic AirBrush System!! I too got mine for Christmas…one of those gifts that DH got me but doesn’t know about! LOL!! Try the masking technique (something simple like sticking a die cut w/ removeable tape on a white cardstock and stray)…really cool effect! Have fun with your new toy!
See you @ SNR!
Those cards are delicious!!!
WOW! The Copic airbrush system!! NO WAY!!! LUCKY!!
Be well!!
