Back for a another Hybrid project!! I'm taking a Project Life class with Becky Higgins over at Big Picture Classes. Project Life is very new to me… I like it, but it's a little out of my element. I'm a little behind, but I did finish my starter page and Week 1 (will be posted soon). There are little prompts and it has really inspired me to look at the "big picture" no pun intended. The class starts right off with Week 1, but since it's a two page layout, I decided to make a starter page as my first page. I used some digi designs from Designer Digitals and then added pictures of my house, my partner (Brenda), our daughter (Merceydeis), and one of our dogs (Tres). My album will be a compilation of random (and purposeful) things in 2014.
More exciting news (for me, anyway)… I recently ordered something and just received it. It's a scanner that will scan my 12×12 scrapbook pages. Well, it's a scanner that scans the proportions 11.7 x 14. So, it's not a true 12×12 scanner, but it's SUPER close! (Note: True 12×12 scanners are thousands of dollars!) I just couldn't stand taking scrapbook page pictures with all the flash glares, sunlight glares, celing light glares, and so on. Plus, it's really hard to take a "straight" picture. Get it? Straight? Those of you who know me will get it. ;-) Anyway, I just don't have the time to photoshop everything. I just realized that I forgot to "check the boxes" mid-page. Ugh… goin' to do that now! Enjoy! **HUGS**
