I'm in the process of creating an album for a friend of mine whom recently lost her baby to SIDS. It's an awful thing to happen. She only had three months with her son and I wanted to preserve those memories for her. My goal is to finish a 12×12 album, 6×6 album, and two altered items within the next three months. Here is one of my favorite pages from the 12×12 album.
I used the beautiful Amberly Grace collection for its simplicity, gentility and gracefulness; a perfect combination for a page of you sleeping with your child.
Although I've always been a "layers" crafter, I have recently been addicted to overlapping layers. At the opposite corners are tags included in the Amberly Grace collection. I left the bottom tag (which has journaling lines) blank so that she could write on it and the other one I used to paste a clear, printed sentiment. (I cannot recall where I got the clear sentiments from.)
