Paper Craftin with Erica

WOYWW: Capture 30

I’m back for another WOYWW with Stamping Ground and this time my focus is on my Capture 30 project!  What is Capture 30, you ask?  Capture 30 is a project in a class that I am currently taking over at Big Picture Classes where we are working on a year-long planner (though the class is only 30 days).  This is the front of my planner (and some of the sparkly things I plan on adding along the way).  The inside is chock-full of places to hold pictures, memories, dates, and more!!!

I think I’m going to keep this project simple.  I generally either smash things in, pack things full, pretty things up, or flower things to death, but I seem to be in a “simple” phase lately… what with ProjectLife and everything right now.  So, simple it is!  I’m going to “capture” 2015 with small pictures, scraps, crafty things, and tons of journaling.

Here’s my mess of a desk during my Capture 30 process.  My planner is in the center of the “mess” and the rest is history!  In fact, my desk looks 20 times worse right now.  It’s probably because I’m trying to do 10 things at once!  I have so much to do, yet so little time.  Well, I better get to it.  It’s pretty cold here in Wisconsin, so stay warm (and hope for an early Spring). **HUGS**

Looks like you are going to be pretty busy. Love the large working area, I seem to limit myself to a foot square!!
    Have a good week

I like your planner – it looks already ‘bulky’ and I guess (hope) it will be more bulkier (is that a word?) at the end of the year. Enjoy the process of working in it! Happy woyww and a big hug from Holland. Marit #41

Just keep going – you are making progress! I feel like that almost every morning when I look at my craft table…I have at least ten things I want to do all at once! Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #48

I like the idea of keeping it simple! It’ll be interesting to see how your artwork progresses. I’ve been reading about the freezing temps your way…brrrrr, thankfully it’s been a lot less cold here in the UK!

Wow, your desk whilst working on it…really? It’s lovely…tidy even! And I say…look how you store your dewdrop inks…, Gah, mine are just slung in a basket! Your planner is looking fab, what a great class to have chosen.

Hi Erica – lovely busy desk, and the planner sounds like fun. Such a good idea to change our style sometimes – keeps the work fresh, new and exciting. Do show your progress! Happy WOYWW, Chris # 21
