I’m back for another WOYWW. Yes, it has been a while. Again. That would be because I haven’t scrapped in a while. Again. That would be because I am swamped with life. Again. One of my New Year resolutions was to spend <at least> one hour per day crafting. Well, that didn’t work out so well. I have not scrapbooked, art journaled, colored with my Copics, made cards… and not even digi scrapped for I don’t even know how long. Again. So, what’s the mess then?
It’s a compilation of crap that continues to accumulate while I’m… you guessed it… NOT crafting. Yes, I have scrapbooking tools and supplies there, but they are actually items I’ve been purchasing while <wanting> to craft. Then there are brochures for a non-profit I work with, an external computer CD player, empty boxes, wrappers (???), and digi pages I recently had printed. There ya have it… my crafting (yet non-crafting) workspace. I think I’ll start crafting for a 1/2 hour tonight and work my way up to an hour. 🙂 XOXOXOXO
That’s OK! I’ve been there too. Tell yourself you never “have to” craft and all of the sudden with the pressure off you will start doing it again. 🙂 Hopefully! ha! Such a sweet pretty desk anyway…thanks for sharing! Tam #11
Great Space I’m sure you’ll find the time eventually to play what’s all that stash hanging in the bags behind your desk so organized 🙂 Happy Easter hugs Nikki #12
good luck with getting back to it sometimes stuff just gets in the way!! Helen 20
Well, it all looks good – I’m the same, when I can’t get on and make anything, I buy supplies in readiness 🙂
Happy WOYWW!

We all have desks like this at some stage, full but not productive! Hang in there #36
An hour a day would be unrealistic for me..and I work from home most of the week! I’m getting more done since we changed to British Summer Time because the day is lighter longer, and I’m better motivated when I want to do something than when I have to do something for sure! Don’t whip yourself about it – the good thing about papers – they wait for you.!
Craft/don’t craft…it’s ok to do either. Don’t beat yourself up about it. We all go through times like these 🙂
Hugs, LLJ 37 xx
Hi there – “dim panicio” as they say locally here. In other words – no need to panic. It’s all there waiting for you, just as soon as you have the time, the energy, and the space in your life and thoughts… You’ll get back there.
There’s some lovely things a-waiting for you.
Have a special Easter weekend.

We all have these times when we are just not in the mood and suddenly when we don’t have to craft is when we begin again!
Thanks for sharing your space.

There is no easy answer to the I want to craft/I have no time to craft dilemma. I too have tried to set aside as regular time but it doesn’t work and I have to face it, I am often at my most creative late at night when I need to go to bed because I have work the next day!! But we manage, and I couldn’t get by without my ‘fix’! Happy WOYWW and Happy Easter, Cindy #59
Hi Erica – I find it hard to set aside a particular hour or two – for me, it works to craft a whole afternoon or evening, cos once I get on a roll, I can’t stop! So today, for instance, I’ll get out in the garden while the sun shines, then spend this evening crocheting. Hope you manage to find crafty time this week. Easter blessings, Chris # 32
I often find myself crafting when everyone else has gone to bed but it’s not good if you have an early get-up lol!
Happy crafting, Angela x45
Hi Erica, just snooping and wishing you a lovely Easter week Cheers RobynO#43
It can get hard to get back into after a while away, I agree. Not been doing as much as I’d like to either. Looking at your Reads on the left, a fellow vampire reader too! Have you read the Anne Rice Vampire books?Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz # 34 xx
Thanks for the peek, always fun to visit a new place. I hope you feel like crafting soon.
