Paper Craftin with Erica

WOYWW: School Days

Now that Merceydeis is well over 18 (and done with secondary education), it’s time to work on her School Days album.  I tend to procrastinate, but not only that… I like to wait until the project’s purpose is complete (in this case, it was finishing school).  See, if I don’t wait my style will change, I’ll lose momentum, and it just doesn’t work for me.

I decided to do a super-mini album (Instagram-sized) mainly with her school pictures.  Here’s a sneak peek of the first page (no picture, just a cover).  AND… here’s what my ridiculous desk looks like in the midst of all this.

Hop on over to Stamping Ground and join us in the WOYWW.  Happy crafting!  XOXOXO

I admire the fact that after all this time, you’re actually thinking about the project. I suspect if that was me, then if I hadn’t done it by a certain time, it would never get completed!! I like your desk, messy but bright and cheerful. It looks like you’ve been having fun.

I understand you want to wait until ‘the end of the project’ before scrapping it or turning it into an album/minibook… I am the same! I do love what I see, great colors and design! Your desk looks not messy but happy to me! Happy woyww and a hug from Holland. Marit #18

I understand you wanting to wait. What you are showing looks great and I just know it will work out great! Your desk looks a bit like mine this morning and I do plan to have a little clean up shortly. Happy WOYWW! Glenda #19

That is an exciting busy desk. Well done for pushing on with tour project while you are in the right frame of mind to do it as you wanted. Enjoy the process. xxx Maggie (Silvercrafter) #8

Love that front cover Erica. I smiled at the desk shots at it looked just like mine when I am trying to find embellishments to fit a theme and am going through all my supplies. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #5

Very impressive – I thought about doing one for Alex’s primary school years, but gave up on the idea. I love the chaos on your desk as you work on the project and the first page is lovely. Thanks for sharing. Happy WOYWW and have a lovely week. With love & God Bless. Caro xxx (#26)

Hi Erica, wow, my desk occasionally looks like yours, but it drives me batty so I have to clear it up. Great start to the album. Have a lovely week hugs Heather xx #11

I don’t work the same way, but I get it completely. If I was making a mini, it would have to be done to completion, like you, I like the continuance of style in a single album too. Your desk looks great to my eyes!

Hi Erica, great project, and I agree with how you do it, I think I’d work like that too. Love the desk shot, feels like home, lol. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #2 X

Hi Erica, you have to get everything you need around you when starting a project, there is nothing worse than having to start looking for stuff when you’re in the middle of something so I understand everything on your desk. The mini album is a lovely idea. Wishing you a happy belated woyww, Angela x20x
